Wembley Netball Club is committed to ensuring all children under our care are safe and free from harm.

We have zero tolerance for child abuse and bullying. All allegations and safety concerns will be treated seriously and consistently with our policies and procedures.

We have a legal and moral obligation to contact authorities when we are worried about a child’s safety. We are committed to preventing harm to a child under our care and to identifying, reducing and removing risks.

We are committed to supporting and respecting all children, as well as club coaches, managers and the club management team. We abide by a Code of Conduct that guides our behaviours to support children under our care.

All club coaches have a Current Working With Children Check.

Wembley Netball Club reinforces the Netball Victoria Child Safety Standards and Code of Conduct in our policies. By registering with Netball Victoria and Wembley Netball Club, all players, coaches, managers, committee members, parents and spectators must abide by the Code of Conduct and Child Safety Standards.
